Belianska Cave is one of the most visited accessible caves in Slovakia. Besides the bizarre rock formations, it is known for the rich occurrence of calcite fillings. Although the interest in the natural sights of the cave has been going on for 125 years, the patterns of its creation have not yet been fully elucidated.
